KHS Vice President Bob Baker Inducted into Legacy Leaders Circle

Congratulations to Robert (Bob) Baker on being inducted into the ANCOR Foundation’s Legacy Leaders Circle!

The Legacy Leaders Circle recognizes long-time members of the American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR) who have made significant contributions toward inclusion and services and supports for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Bob was honored along with Paula Hart, the CEO of Volunteers of America Minnesota and Wisconsin in Minneapolis, MN; and Naomi “Deane” Ruppert, the former CEO of Emmaus Homes in St. Charles, MO.

“Since my earliest days in our vibrant association, I’ve been in awe of the many trailblazers who have made inclusion possible for people of all abilities, and I can’t think of anyone more deserving of the Legacy Leader designation than Deane, Bob, and Paula,” said Chris Stevenson, president of the ANCOR Foundation and CEO at Cedar Lake in Louisville, KY. “Their commitment to their organizations, this industry, and the broader community of individuals with disabilities in this country has left an indelible mark on the trajectory of our nearly 50-year-old association and that impact will no doubt be felt for years to come.”

“We’re very proud that Bob has been inducted into the Legacy Leaders Circle,” said Charles Hooker, President and CEO of Keystone Human Services. “His leadership has helped ensure that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are included in their communities and have the opportunity to pursue their dreams for work, school, and life.”
