By taking one step at a time, you can help us train life-changing service dogs! Susquehanna Service Dogs is participating in the 2020 Highmark Walk, and we need your help to raise funds to cover the cost of raising, training, and placing a service dog.

Because of concerns for everyone’s safety, this year’s event is online only. While we might not be physically walking together this year in Harrisburg, PA, we can all still come together, raise money, and work toward a common goal.

Highmark Blue Shield generously underwrites the cost of the walk, which means 100 percent of the money you raise will come directly to us.

How your donation helps

  • $25 – Training tools: clicker, treat pouch, leash, and collar
  • $50 – Dog food for one dog in training for one month
  • $100 – Harness for a working service dog
  • $250 – Supplies to get a new partner started with their service dog
  • $500 – Cost of puppy training class for one month
  • $750 – Vet care, including hip and elbow X-rays, for one dog for one year
  • $1,000 – Food for all dogs in advanced training for one month
  • $1,500 – Flea and tick medications for all dogs in training for one month

Gather your friends, family, and coworkers virtually and create a team or join an existing team. Ask your employer to sponsor your team.

Let’s come together and change lives!
