Jenny Laurita joined the Board of Key Human Services in 2007. As a community board member, and with a younger sister with Down Syndrome, she is aware of the support that these individuals and their families require and brings that knowledge and concern to her desire to help advise the board.

Jenny is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) with AXA Advisors. Prior to joining AXA, she worked with the retirement plans of Hartford Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, helping employees of those institutions with their retirement and investment planning. She has held a number of positions with area insurance companies, including ING, Transamerica, Travelers Life and Annuity, and Mutual of New York. Her current practice consists of retirement, investment and insurance planning for both State of Connecticut employees and private clients.

She is a 1988 graduate of the University of Connecticut, with a bachelor’s in history. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking and traveling. She lives in Glastonbury, CT with her two dogs, Shorty and Teddy.
