Puppy Shower

Welcome to the Eastern Star Litter!

SSD Midge nurses her puppies

We are happy to announce the birth of the Eastern Star puppies – Hope, Kate, Lucy, Maggie, Carol and Buster. These pups were born on October 20, 2011 to SSD Midge, and they will be learning the skills necessary to become successful service dogs.

In less than two years, they'll be highly skilled service, hearing, balance or psychiatric service dogs. They'll open doors, turn lights on, find and retrieve the phone and much more. Each puppy will be specially trained to assist their partner with their unique needs so they can lead full, more independent lives. One of these puppies may one day assist their partner to go grocery shopping by themselves for the first time in years. These dogs will change lives.

To welcome these puppies into our family, we're throwing them a puppy shower. This is a wonderful and easy way for you to get involved in these puppies' journey to becoming service dogs. Donate now to support a puppy and help them change lives.
