How Can YOU or YOUR ORGANIZATION help?

SSD is often asked "What can I do to help?" There are many volunteer opportunities, as well as gifts of goods, services and financial support.; There is a level of support available for EVERY level of resources. Thanks to the generosity of our members, volunteers, sponsors and friends, the work of SSD can benefit many more partners.

Here are some samples of how YOUR contributions & gifts can be important:

The following items would help to advance SSD to new levels of service and opportunity:

$750: Lodging for 1 Partner during 2 weeks of Training and Transfer
Your Home: Accessible home and hospitality for 2 weeks of Training and Transfer
$?: Accessible Van to train dogs and transport Partners-in-Training
$?: Lightweight Wheelchairs for training and demos
$600: Folding Wheelchair Ramp
$?: Loftstrand Crutches
$?: Storage Space for training equipment and PawsAbilities equipment
$?: Training Facility (3500-7500 sq ft) **
$?: Permanent accessible housing for recipients and family who come from out of town during transfer **

** NOTE – Starred Items would be TRULY wonderful if accompanied by a few wooded and secluded acres (for privacy and sound reduction) on which to construct a "Campus", which would provide housing for a Kennel Attendant and Intern. Once developed, such a location could be used for Puppy Classes, Demonstrations, hosting Training Seminars and many other wonderful opportunities. Our dreams are only beginning!
