Spend a week with SSD and the service dogs! SSD offers a Dog Training Summer Camp for children ages 10-14. Kids will learn clicker training and basic dog care from our professional staff. They'll also learn about SSD and how the dogs assist people with disabilities. Each day, campers will have the opportunity to work with and train their “own” service dog to perform the tasks the dogs will need to become certified working dogs, including taking “their” dog out in public.

We offer the Summer Camp in two separate week-long sessions: July 12-16 and July 19-23. The two sessions are identical, so campers will learn the same skills regardless of which session they attend. Each week-long session costs $350 and is limited to 10 campers, ages 10-14, so be sure to register early. To reserve a spot in SSD's Summer Camp, please send a $100 deposit by June 28, 2010. The remainder of the camp fee is due at the start of camp. Lunch is included in the cost.
