Psychological Evaluation Services

Little girl plays inside padded tube and smiles for the camera

Psychological Evaluation Services provide evaluations and reevaluations to determine the individualized needs and concerns of each person and to establish the medical necessity of autism services, Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services (BHRS) and other clinical or therapeutic services. These evaluations are then used to develop individualized support plans.

Psychological Evaluations may be used to evaluate learning disabilities, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders and depression.

At Keystone Autism Services, psychological evaluations are provided by a Pennsylvania licensed clinical psychologist to determine a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Assessments include evaluation of records (school, medical, etc.); telephone, email and face to face contact; assessment scoring; and completion of an interpretation and diagnostic evaluation report.

In Children & Family Services, Psychological Evaluation Services are provided to children under the direction of a licensed psychologist and they support BHRS, Community Homes, Life Sharing and other services as needed. Psychological Evaluation Services are also available to the County and other external agencies, and they conform to the guidelines of the American Psychological Association (APA).
