- Community Support Associate - Dallas, PA

- Position Description:
- This Community Support Associate position is responsible to assist an adult male with developmental disability in the Dallas, PA area so that he is involved in activities and events, meets new people, exercises choices, and acquires the competencies to maintain these activities and accomplish personal goals. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: documentation, community outreach and networking, providing transportation, assisting in personal care when needed, establishing effective relationships with all persons affiliated with the individual, using public transportation.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Must possess six (6) months of experience in human services field. Must possess the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; understand, develop and implement learning objectives; be physically able to lift and participate in physical activities of daily living; Position requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license and access to a privately maintained vehicle, and ability to pass child abuse, State Police and FBI clearances. Experience with/knowledge of working with adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders is preferred.
- Compensation & Status:
- Full and part time positions are available. Varied schedule may include late afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnights. Salary range from $10.00-11.00/hour. Positions available in the Dallas, PA (Luzerne County) area.
- Behavior Therapy Associate

- Position Description:
- The Behavior Therapy Associate is responsible for providing support and coaching to individuals with developmental disabilities. This is done through teaching, coaching, modeling and accompanying individuals so they are involved in a variety of events and life experiences. Responsibilities include but not limited to: assistance with and implementation of comprehensive plans of people supported, documentation, attending and contributing to team meetings relating to the individuals served, provide basic modeling to individuals supported and other team members.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Requires Bachelor's Degree in related field and minimum of six months experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must possess strong interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal), and organizational skills; ability to understand, develop and implement learning objectives; Must be able to pass child abuse, state police and FBI clearances; possess valid driver's license and be able to drive; ability to transport self and individuals to appointments as scheduled; physical ability to lift and participate in activities of daily living.
- Compensation & Status:
- This is a Full time position; schedule varies according to program needs. Hourly rate is $14-15/hour. Position is located in Dallas, PA (Luzerne County).

- Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; understand, develop and implement learning objectives; be physically able to lift and participate in physical activities of daily living. Must possess six (6) months of experience in human services field working with individuals with disabilities, a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license and access to a privately maintained vehicle, and ability to pass child abuse, State Police and FBI clearances. Experience with/knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or Intellectual Disabilities preferred.
- Compensation & Status:
- Must be able to work a varied schedule to include late afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnights. Salary range from $9.00-11.00/hour. Positions available in various locations in New Castle County, DE and Montgomery and Delaware Counties and Northeast Phildelphia, PA.
