Corporate Compliance Auditor/Project Manager

Position Description:
Responsibilities include conducting reviews, billing, financial and comprehensive compliance audits to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, Medicaid rules and regulations, revenue cycle issues, policies and procecures.  This individual will also be responsible for coordinating internal audits, analyses, reviews and investigations with all subsidiaries and agencies of the organization as well as external agencies and providing recommendations to improve compliance, internal controls, accuracy and efficiency.  In addition this individual will be required to:  Assist the compliance office with coordinating and communicating all compliance activities, as well as planning, implementing, and monitoring the Corporate Compliance and Ingegrity Program;  maintain a working knowledge of federal and state regulations and policies; provide education and training related to policies, regulations, or legislation that impact operations; coordinate follow-up and resolution to investigations/audit findings; monitor external developments in compliance and ethics, including government investigations and industry best practices; provide on-going advice and resources to management in the area of process improvement to support compliance program effectiveness; and actively participate in committees or workgroups as required..
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have three or more years of previous experience in a progressive compliance audit or accounting environment with significant exposure to industry-related corporate compliance, with a strong background in Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement and regulations, internal auditing, conducting investigations, healthcare, operations, and fraud and abuse laws.  A Bachelor's degree with emphasis on business administration, accounting, public policy, or healthcare administration is required;  a Master's degree is preferred.  Additionally, experience with MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint; excellent communication skills; and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality is required.
