- Position Description:
- Keystone Residence of Lancaster is looking for an individual to support, teach, coach, and be a role model for people with mental illness so that they are involved in family, neighborhood, civic, and cultural activities and events. Assist people using services with meeting new people, developing friendships, exercising choices, and acquiring the competencies to maintain these activities and accomplish personal goals. Provide coaching, teaching, and assistance in financial and household management. Develop and implement individual service plans. Collect data, document, and write reports. Research, establish contact, and network with community resources. Coordinate activities and services. Advocate for individuals using services. Establish effective working relationships with all agencies/persons affiliated with the services.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or Bachelor's Degree with two years relevant experience. Direct experience in the field of mental health and/or residential services is preferred. Must be able to demonstrate effective verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and access to a privately maintained vehicle necessary.

- Full time, Non-exempt. Varying hours to include daytime, afternoon, evening, overnight (asleep and awake), weekends, and holidays. $23,000.00 annual salary ($11.05 per/hour).

- Full time, Non-exempt. 80 hours every two-week pay period: flexible, may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays. $10.10 p/h. ($21,000.00 annually)
- Recovery Specialist (Peer Support Specialist), Mental Health Services

- Position Description:
- The ReS exists to be a role model and a support to people in services so that they are involved in family, neighborhood, civic, religious activities, and events. The ReS provides peer support services in residential, outpatient, or community settings; serves as an advocate; and provides information to people in services. The ReS performs a wide range of tasks to support people in services in regaining control over their own lives and over their own recovery process. The ReS will model competency in recovery and on-going coping skills and will demonstrate successful efforts at self-directed recovery. The ReS encourages each person to create and maintain socially valued roles and interests, and is committed to empowering each person to make their own decisions. The employee in this position will act as a change agent within the community by modeling community support principles to both the people in services, mental health professionals, and the general public.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- One continuous year as a current or former recipient of mental health services and a willingness to acknowledge this experience, as appropriate. Ability to establish positive relationships with peers. Requires High School Diploma or GED. Two years of experience or education in the human services field including one year of mental health experience. Within the last three years must have 12 months successful work or volunteer experience in human services. Alternative experience would include post secondary education. Must be available and eligible for Peer Support certification in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Basic math skills are required. The abilities to write and speak clearly and effectively are required. Able to pass child abuse, state police, and FBI background clearances. This employee will have no felony convictions and no more than two misdemeanors as per ACT 169. A valid PA driver's license, car insurance, and access to a privately maintaind vehicle, or ability to obtain these within the first six months are required, along with a clean driving record.

- Position Description:
- Keystone Human Services of Lancaster is seeking individuals who have a sincere desire to assist people with mental and/or physical disabilities have a full and meaningful life living in residential settings throughout the community. Positions require cleaning, cooking, personal care, and community integration activities. We offer flexible work schedules for those looking to supplement their income, however, persons must be open to work weekend, evening, and afternoon hours. These positions will be within our pool of relief employees who work as needed, and serve to compliment our full-time positions. Other part-time and full-time positions are available as well.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Position requires a minimum education of a HS diploma or GED, driver's license, regular access to a private vehicle, and a clean criminal conviction record. Persons must be a team player and have good written and oral communication skills.
- Compensation & Status:
- Casual, Part and Full time positions available. Varying hours to include mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnight (asleep and awake), weekends, and holidays. $8.90 per hour (asleep rate $7.15 per hour) with an extensive benefit package provided for part and full time employees.
