- Education Assistant

- Position Description:
- Coordinate and facilitate Keystone Residence's Orientation Program and training activities, acting as a contact for trainers, trainees and facility representatives and conduct various trainings. Maintain extensive training database, including data entry and filing of all training records. Participate and chair, as necessary, in various committees as directed. Also responsible for maintaining training library, all audio/visual equipment and training materials. 75 Hours per 2 week pay period. Hours will vary based on training needs and may include late evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of training and experience in education, human resources or related field. Degree preferred. Knowledge of SRV as well as Quality Improvement principles. Ability to communicate vision and purpose of agency in presentation to large groups both internally and externally; coordinate and prioritize multiple details and projects; exceptional organizational and communication skills (both verbally and in writing); ability to work independently and with a team. Proficiency in Microsoft programs required and knowledge of People Soft preferred. Valid PA driver's license and daily access to a privately maintained vehicle. Position works out of the 940 East Park Drive, Harrisburg office, may travel to 170 Mill Road, Chambersburg and to include travel to off site locations
- Compensation & Status:
- 80 Hours per 2 week pay period. Hours will vary based on training needs and may include late evenings, weekends and holidays. Salary - mid to high $20's.
- Program Coordinator - Chambersburg

- Position Description:
- This position exists to supervise and maintain all aspects of operations within the 24/7 home. Supervise, train and mentor employees. Coordinate the Personal Support Planning process, maintain the records and provide direct support to the individual. Actively participate in the process and implementation of teaching strategies, personal goals, needs, membership in the community, and non-paid relationships; role modeling effective interactions; documentation to include outreach and networking; providing transportation, providing direct support as scheduled; coordinating activities and services, establishing effective relationships with person using services and his family. Submit all required administrative paperwork. Ensure coverage is provided for all positions within the home and respond to crisis situations during off duty hours. Actively participate in various agency meetings.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of three years training/experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Experience with autism/aspergers required. Supervisory experience preferred. Demonstrate ability to communicate both verbally and in writing; read, interpret, and apply written information such as policies, procedures, person centered plans, training and staff development readings; understand, develop and implement learning objectives; basic household management skills; be physically able to lift and participate in physical activities of daily living; ability to pass child abuse, State Police and FBI clearances; possess a valid PA driver's license; have access to a privately maintained vehicle; operate agency vehicle when required. Ability to work varied shifts.

Establish and maintain contact with people within the community who are involved with individuals living in the home. Actively participate, plan, and/or lead in various agency meetings.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of five years training/experience in a human service setting. Supervisory experience required. Demonstrate ability to communicate both verbally and in writing; read, interpret, and apply written information such as policies, procedures, person centered plans, training and staff development readings; understand, develop and implement learning objectives; basic household management skills; be physically able to lift and participate in physical activities of daily living; ability to pass child abuse, State Police and FBI clearances; possess a valid PA driver's license; have access to a privately maintained vehicle; operate agency vehicle when required. - Community Support Associate/Support Aide - Harrisburg and Mechanicsburg Areas

- Position Description:
- This position exists to teach, coach, model, and accompany individuals with developmental disabilities so that they are involved in family, neighborhood, civic, cultural and religious activities and events, meet new people, develop friendships, exercise choices, and acquire the competencies to maintain these activities and accomplish personal goals. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, developing and implementing teaching strategies; documentation, to include data collection and report writing; community outreach and networking; household management; providing transportation; assisting in personal care when needed; coordinating activities and services; establishing effective relationships with all persons affiliated with the house; and using public transportation.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. be 18 years of age or older and an interest in community involvement. Must possess a high school diploma or GED, one year stable work, a valid driver's license, have daily access to a privately maintained vehicle, ability to pass child abuse, State Police and FBI Clearances. Must be able to work a varied schedule to include late afternoon, evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights.
- Compensation & Status:
- Full time openings exist in the Harrisburg and Mechanicsburg areas. Salary range $9.50 to $10.00 based on location. Excellent benefit package for FT positions.
- Home Based Support Specialist - Harrisburg and Mechanicsburg areas

- Home-based services provides support to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, in their homes. Duties include assisting persons to meet their personal care needs, participation in community integrative activities and implement teaching strategies.
- Minimum Requirements:
- One-year work experience in the field, excellent oral and written communication skills. be 18 years of age or older and have an interest in community involvement. Must possess a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, have daily access to a privately maintained vehicle, ability to pass child abuse, State Police and FBI Clearances. Must be able to work a varied schedule to include late afternoon, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Schedules varied based on needs.
