Keystone Community Mental Health Services is a non-profit agency dedicated to providing services and support to people so that they may live as independently within the community as possible. These services are provided in residential group living settings, clustered apartment living and to persons living in their own apartments.

Mental health services are provided for adults through residential homes, supported living, intensive case management, partial hospitalization, and psychiatric rehabilitation.
Due to expansion in the Harrisburg area the following positions are available within Dauphin, Cumberland, York and Franklin/Fulton Counties.

- Program Director - Pittsburgh Area

- Position Description:
- Manage overall daily operations of Personal Care services. Interview, hire, supervise, and schedule staff. Ensure proper program coverage at all times. Monitor the programs expenditures. Review, approve and submit all fiscal, personnel and other administrative paperwork. Supervise development and ensure implementation of Goal Plans. Develop and maintain good working relationships with other professionals and other individuals within the community who significantly affect the lives of the people being served. Ensure that services are provided and documentation consistent with the organizational corporate compliance plan. Carry management pager on a rotating basis.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in the human services field with five years progressively responsible human services experience including administrative, supervisory, financial and quality oversight. Masters Degree preferred. Direct experience in the mental health field is preferred. Knowledge of Social Role Valorization and commitment to Continuous Quality Improvement principles is essential. Ability and willingness to seek and obtain certification in Psychiatric Rehabilitation. Must be able to communicate vision and purpose of agency to others. Ability to work independently with general direction and supervision in a complex and demanding environment. Position also requires the ability to pass child abuse, state police and FBI clearances, a valid drivers’ license and daily access to a vehicle.

- Mental Health Professional- Pittsburgh Area

- Position Description:
- The Mental Health Professional’s duties relate to the clinical supervision of services provided. The MHP makes final clinical decisions about services provided to consumers and assures that such services are provided in accordance with Personal Care Regulations and KCMHS Policy. Manage overall daily clinical operation of services. Assist with interviewing potential employees as requested. Provide clinical supervision and direction for all staff. Submit all fiscal, personnel and other administrative paperwork. Supervise development and ensure implementation of Residential Service Plans according to personal care policy. Coordinate with the Program Director all aspects of the referral process and discharge planning. Ensure clinical aspect of consumer files are maintained. Develop and maintain good working relationships with other professionals and other individuals within the community who significantly affect the lives of the people being served. Carry administrative management pager on a rotating basis.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Masters degree in psychology, social work or other mental health discipline. Experience in the field of mental health preferred. Must be able to demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Able to pass Child Abuse, State Police and FBI clearances; possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive; have access to a privately maintained vehicle; and operate an agency vehicle when required.

- RN- Pittsburgh Area

- Position Description:
- This position exists to provide daily coordination and delivery of health care services to people with complex medical needs. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: providing general nursing services, training in all areas of nursing procedures and medical administration, professional guidance concerning medical issues and access medical resources as needed.

- Possess a current PA nursing license and 2 years of experience to include experience in the mental health field. - Program Administrator - Specialized Community Residence

- To manage and support the overall operation of designated Specialized Community Residence. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: assist with interviewing, hiring, supervising, training, and scheduling of staff; ensuring program coverage at all times; delegating activities of service operation , as needed; building maintenance; reviewing, approving and submitting all fiscal, personnel and other administrative paperwork in a correct and timely manner to the Administrator. - Three years of combined training/experience in the human services field. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field preferred. Must be willing and able to qualify as a Personal Care Home Administrator. Must be 21 years of age. Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; possess a valid PA driver’s license and have daily access to a privately maintained vehicle. - Intensive Case Manager

- Position Description:
- Assist adults with serious and persistent mental illness to gain access to appropriate Mental Health Services, assist in obtaining and maintaining basic living needs and skills such as housing, food, medical care, recreation, education and employment, assist with the development and maintenance of an informal support network. Provide the service in accordance with a written service plan, which is goal directed and outcome, oriented. Comply with reporting requirements.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field or high school diploma/GED with 12 semester credit hours in Human Services with 2 years experience in human services, 1 year in direct client contact. A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services with 3 years of combined training/experience in the human services field is preferred. Must be able to demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, pass child abuse, state police and FBI background clearances and have a valid driver’s license and daily access to a privately maintained vehicle is required.

- LPN-Specialized Community Residence - York

- Position Description:
- Primarily responsible for all KCMHS nursing duties at a Personal Care Home. Administering medication as requested. Monitoring of medication administration logs. Providing training to all employees in health care aspects and infection control procedures. Working as a liaison with KCMHS DON and staff and the medical community, as needed. Providing individual counseling on weight control, maintaining good general health.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Must possess a current PA LPN license. Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in community health or MH/MR. Possess a valid PA driver's license and access to a privately maintained vehicle. Ability to pass Child Abuse clearance, State Police and FBI clearances.

- Structured Residential Services SRS Rehabilitation Specialist

- To provide therapeutic residential MH treatment to persons 18 years old or older who are eligible for hospitalization but who can receive adequate care in an SRS.

- Structured Residential Services SRS Recreation Assistant

- Position Description:
- Assist in the planning and implementation of recreation opportunities for the people at the SRS. Maintain regular contact with the Recreation Therapist and the Mental Health Professional (MHP) pertaining to clinical issues of individuals supported by the SRS. Provide feedback to the CTRS to assist in the development and implementation of person centered goal plans for those individuals in the SRS. Teach, coach, model and support people with mental illness so that they are involved in family, neighborhood, civic, cultural and religious activities and events, meet new people, develop friendships, exercise choices, and acquire the competencies to maintain these activities and accomplish personal goals. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: documentation, to include data collection and report writing; community outreach and networking; providing and securing transportation as needed; coordination of activities and services; establishing and maintaining effective relationships with all persons affiliated with the services; provide support to the CTRS as needed. Fulfill other duties within the SRS as needed to ensure smooth operation of the program.

- Community Support Specialiast

- This position exists to provide services of an integrative system of psychosocial intervention and guidance that places emphasis upon daily living skills as well as community integration. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to developing and implementing individual service plans; documentation to include data collection and report writing, community outreach and networking; providing transportation; coordination of activities and services; establishing and maintaining effective relationships with all persons affiliated with the services.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Harrisburg area and its resources. Must have either a high school diploma or GED certificate with two years working directly with individuals with mental illness. - Personal Care Associate
- Dauphin, Cumberland, and Fulton/Franklin Counties

- Position Description:
- Assist individuals in the home with personal care including dressing, bathing, diet, daily hygiene skills, general personal appearance and financial management. Serve as a team member. Write progress notes pertinent to events related to the individual's "quality of life." Prepare and cook meals, as necessary. Perform daily household maintenance, including laundry, cleaning,monitoring medications and meal preparation. Provide transportation, as necessary. Assist in the implementation of recreational activities. Perform immediate action procedures to ensure safety of individuals and working in the home.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Six months of stable, related work experience in the Human Services field /or one year of college in a related Human Services field; CNA desirable. Must be 21 years of age and have either a high school diploma or GED certificate. - Compensation & Status:
- $10.00/hour Full-time and casual. 80 hours per two-week pay period. Varied schedule based on program needs to include rotation of mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, overnights and holidays based on program needs.
- Rehabilitation Specialist - CRR Program
