Executive Leadership Biographies

Robyn S. Joppy Vice President, Corporate Compliance, KHS, KSS

Robyn joined Keystone in April 2001 and serves as Vice President, Corporate Compliance and the Corporate Compliance Officer.

Robyn has 15 years (combined) of corporate and regulatory compliance experience in both the health care and dental insurance industries and human services. She contributed and functioned in various capacities throughout her career. Most notably are her experience and multi dimensional roles with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' (CMS) compliance requirements regarding the Medicare Program as well as licensing, filing and corporate administrative requirements (in 50 states) for dental insurers.

Robyn's responsibilities as Keystone's Corporate Compliance Officer include: overseeing the Corporate Compliance Program and Plan, which consists of the Code of Business Conduct, and assuring the Company is in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and all related Company policies and procedures. Additionally, Robyn is responsible for the education and training of all employees and Board Members as it relates to Corporate Compliance.

Robyn is an experienced keynote speaker and meeting facilitator. She continues to enhance her educational pursuits and is effective in the following areas: training, market research and analysis. Her knowledge of national health care financing issues, compliance requirements, trends, legislation and initiatives has served her well and is an asset to Keystone. Moreover, Robyn's experience has enabled and empowered her to establish and maintain personal interface with medical societies, professional societies, congressional members, hospitals, the provider community, senior citizen groups and other special interest groups.

Robyn received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Syracuse University and a Master's Degree from Pennsylvania State University. Subsequently, she completed a special certification program and received a certificate in Human Resources Management from Pennsylvania State University.

Robyn is a member of the Society of Group Contract Analyst, the Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals, the Health Care Compliance Association, and the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics. In addition, Robyn was recognized in Who's Who International and received an award for Professional Selling Skills. Robyn is a native of Harrisburg and is an active participant in those areas that are germane to the Keystone state.
