Early Intervention Services are available to assist families with children between birth and age three who experience or at risk of developmental delays. Supports include assessments, physical, occupational and speech/language therapy and developmental education. Community and Home Based support services are designed to meet the specific needs of persons residing in their own home, in a nursing home, or with family members. Components include support with daily activities, recreation, respite and assistance with the acquisition of adaptive equipment and ancillary services. Community Homes provide persons an opportunity to live in a private residential setting as they gain skills in daily living and participate in everyday community activities. Family Living offers a person with a developmental disability and a family the opportunity to share their lives, to build enduring relationships and provide a foundation for strengthening skills and learning to live in interdependence. Providing day program support allows people who choose not to attend a structured day program the opportunity to determine their own daily activities including retirement, competitive employment, and volunteer activities or pursuing other personal interests. Social Recreation provides educational opportunities, a time for persons to come together to explore new hobbies and participate in varied activities. Our Transportation Services provide persons with access to their community. Respite services provide support when the primary care giver cannot be available.
Our adult mental health services include Supportive Living and Community Residential Rehabilitation. Supportive Living services assist adults with mental illness to develop and maintain living skills. Supports include assistance in securing and maintaining safe housing, establishing and developing natural supports and identifying integrative social and recreational activities and vocational pursuits, as well as nutritional counseling, medication monitoring and money management. Community Residential Rehabilitation services provide adults with mental illness the opportunity to live within the community, gaining skills in helping them to live more independently.
Therapeutic Staff Support, Mobile Therapy, Family Based Mental Health Services, Behavioral Specialist Consultation, Psychological Consultation and Short and Long Term Psychosocial Rehabilitation are among our children's mental health services. These services are geared towards children and adolescents whose behavior interferes with their ability to benefit and/or participate in community activities, peer interactions and family life. Therapeutic Staff Support provides a child with one to one interventions in their natural setting with the goal of providing the child with skills necessary to remain secure within the context of family, school and the community. Mobile Therapy services are geared toward families, providing intensive support on a one to one and/or family basis. Services include crisis intervention, behavioral intervention, individual counseling and emotional support with the intent to build self esteem and skills in coping, anger management, problem solving, interpersonal social, community living and recreational living. Behavioral Specialist Consultants provide clinical oversight for children's mental health staff. The Behavioral Specialist, in conjunction with a licensed Psychologist, develops specialized treatment plans, monitoring the implementation of the plan, to assure the quality of services provided. Psychological Consultation services are available to children served by the Behavioral Health Services. We also offer evaluations through the Developmental Screening service. Family Based services are intensive outpatient services designed to serve children considered at very high risk. Interventions include comprehensive assessment, family and individual therapy, behavioral intervention, crisis intervention, respite, social skills training and networking with other necessary services. Short and Long Term Psychosocial Rehabilitation are clinically intensive services that provide specialized foster care for children and adolescents at risk of inpatient services as a result of behavior that interferes with their ability to remain with their natural family. All of these services are provided with the intent to equip each child and their family with the necessary skills that will allow them to grow and thrive in their own community and without the need for a more restrictive setting.
All of Keystone's services are tailored to the individual strengths and needs of the persons they support. Across the years and whatever the service, our mission has remained consistent; to act as a change agent, creating opportunities for growth and meaningful life choices so that people are valued and contributing members of their community.
