Services are available to individuals who maintain their own homes in the community. Many individuals live alone, however some do live with family, friends or significant others. Our services are committed to providing support and guidance to individuals relating to any life situation they may encounter so they are able to remain living independently.
Support staff offers individuals assistance with financial management, health and safety concerns, community education, socialization and a variety of housing related issues. If requested, individuals may receive assistance in locating housing based on their resources and choice. As individual's lives change, staff are there to support them.
Services are individualized since each person has unique circumstances and needs. Individuals living alone must possess the knowledge and ability to access necessary supports in the event an emergency arises. Support staff work directly with individuals on an as needed basis and are available 24 hours a day through an on-call system.
