Services: Adult Day Center
This service creates an opportunity for individuals to spend time together with friends, and to participate in activities, and attend different community events such as shopping, eating out, and visiting local businesses. Each individual has a plan that strives to be person centered that identifies priorities for learning, socialization and recreation or maintaining skills.
Full time employees are trained to meet the diverse needs of individuals who attend the Adult Day Center. This includes personal care needs, health and safety concerns, special diets, communication and ambulation needs. A program coordinator and program specialist is assigned to the center to assure consistency in service delivery.
The Adult Day Center is located next to the administrative office in Chambersburg PA. Individuals who attend these services are funded through County MH/MR offices, or may pay privately. Individuals may also attend on a full or part time basis.
