Keystone Family Support Associates Holds Annual Basket Bingo and Silent Auction

Keystone Family Support Associates will hold its annual Basket Bingo and Silent Auction on Sunday, May 3 from noon to 5 p.m. at Harrisburg River Rescue & Emergency Services in Harrisburg, PA. Guests can bid on nearly 100 items donated by area businesses, crafters and friends of KFSA in the silent auction and play bingo for a chance to win Longaberger® baskets and accessories. Proceeds benefit the work of Keystone Family Support Associates.
Harrisburg, PA (PRWeb) April 2, 2009 – Join Keystone Family Support Associates (KFSA) for their annual Basket Bingo and Silent Auction on Sunday, May 3 from noon to 5 p.m. at Harrisburg River Rescue & Emergency Services in Harrisburg, PA.
This afternoon of winning baskets kicks off at noon with the Silent Auction. Nearly 100 items for all ages and interests have been donated by area businesses, crafters and friends of KFSA for guests to bid on. Items include Longaberger® baskets, Longaberger® pottery, handmade jewelry, gift certificates and theme baskets. Bidding ends at 1:30 p.m.
From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., guests can try their luck at Basket Bingo. The winners of each round will receive a Longaberger® basket or accessory. All of the baskets will be filled with donations from KFSA’s sponsors. Tickets cost $20 and include a twenty game 6-on packet and a chance to win door prizes. Additional game packets and bingo accessories will be available for purchase. WINK 104’s Sue Campbell will be the bingo caller and jazz musician Andrew Bellanca will provide live music.
Basket Bingo tickets can be purchased online through April 27, by calling 717-541-8248 or by visiting Keystone Family Support Associates at 940 East Park Drive, Suite 200, Harrisburg, PA 17111. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. The Silent Auction is free. Guests can also buy raffle tickets, pull-tab tickets and 50/50 raffle tickets.
This year, KFSA will be offering a limited number of Longaberger® Totes for sale at the beginning of the Silent Auction. Most of the totes cost $20 each and will be filled with goodies.
All proceeds benefit Keystone Family Support Associates. As an agency of Keystone Human Services, KFSA provides community-based supports for individuals and families with developmental disabilities in Dauphin, Cumberland and Perry Counties, creating opportunities for them to be successful in their community. KFSA’s programs include Family Living, Home and Community Services, Residential Homes, Supported Living and Respite Care.
