Marcia J. Reynolds Joins Leadership of Keystone Human Services
(Harrisburg- February 1, 2008) “We are pleased to have a person with the experience and dedication that Ms. Reynolds brings to our leadership team” said Dennis W. Felty, president of Keystone Human Services. “Marcia brings over thirty years of experience as a leader in the field of human services. Having served as Vice President of Impact Systems, Inc. since 1983, Marcia has extensive knowledge in providing supports to those with intellectual disabilities, autism and mental illness.”
“It was an important consideration in our decision to purchase Impact Systems, Inc. to know that Marcia Reynolds, who had provided such capable leadership to that organization for so many years, was willing to join our Keystone leadership as we completed the acquisition” stated Mr. Felty.
Marcia Reynolds will serve as President and CEO of the newly acquired Impact Systems, Inc. as it becomes a subsidiary corporation of the Keystone system and converts from a for-profit corporation to a nonprofit, 501© 3 agency. Marcia grew up in Bradford, Pennsylvania and graduated from Bucknell University with a major in English and a teaching certificate, as well as seeking a Masters Degree in School Psychology.
With a lifelong dedication to have a positive influence on the lives of young people Marcia began her career developing educational programs for exceptional students. Later she served as a School Psychologist Intern and then a Preschool Psychologist. In 1977 Marcia moved to Harrisburg and began work with Impact Systems, Inc. as a houseparent and continued in this dedicated occupation as she rose through the ranks to become Vice President. Ms. Reynolds continues to be involved in many professional organizations, including Pennsylvania Association of Residential Facilities (PARF), Pennsylvania Association of Resources for People with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism (PAR) and others too numerous to mention.
In addition to her many years as a professional in the human service field, Marcia has been involved in her community in theatre groups and as a vocalist. Marcia enjoys interior decoration projects and sports activities.
Marcia lives with her husband Sean in West Chester, PA.
