Donald Enders Received the Edna Silberman Humanitarian Services Award
Keystone Human Services is pleased to announce that Donald Enders was awarded the 2013 Edna Silberman Humanitarian Services Award, presented at Keystone’s Annual Meeting on November 7, 2013.
The Edna Silberman Humanitarian Award is KHS’s highest honor. The award is presented annually to outstanding citizens who have made significant contributions to individuals, the community, and Keystone Human Services and have played a major role in making KHS’s vision real in the lives of others.
Don is a lifelong resident of Dauphin County and is involved in both banking and insurance. His family owns and operates three insurance agencies in Central Pennsylvania. The third generation of Enderses will be on the leadership team of those agencies.
Don came to Keystone from Tri County Society for Children and Adults, formerly Tri County Easter Seals Society. When Keystone merged with Tri County in 1995, Don agreed to continue to serve as part of Keystone’s then consolidated Board of Directors. In 1999, Keystone transitioned to a parent and subsidiary structure, and Don then transitioned to serve on our Parent Board of Directors (Keystone Human Services). He currently serves on that Board and lends his expertise to many Board committees.
In addition to his Keystone efforts, he also serves as Chairman of the Board of Centric Bank and is a trustee of both the HACC Foundation and the Panther Ram Foundation.
