As part of our mission to enhance the well-being of people with disabilities throughout the world, Keystone provided consultation and training to Romanian professionals to develop community-based services and supports as an alternative to institutionalization. The consultation and training focused on increasing professionals' knowledge about valued social roles for individuals with disabilities and improved methods and processes for delivering positive services and supports in the community. The training and consultation provided the framework for envisioning a future including home, work, education, relationships, spirituality, community and civic life, and personal growth.
