Services: Birth to Three
KEY Service Systems has been providing comprehensive, family-focused Birth to Three services since January 1994. We have offered a wide array of services and service models in Connecticut.
A child is eligible if he or she has a delay in one or more areas of development or has a diagnosed condition that places him or her at risk for developmental delay.
KEY offers a family-centered, family-driven comprehensive program. All services are provided in natural environments -- typically in the family's home, the child's day care, a community program or a combination of these locations.
A flexible, individual service team is formed for each child, based on the child and family strengths and needs. This team works in partnership with the family from referral and evaluation through transition at age three. One provider acts as a service coordinator to ensure a program that is responsive to changes in child and family priorities, resources and concerns.
