Caring Families: A Domiciliary Care Program

Man and Woman Outdoors

A place to live, with families who care, when you can't live alone.

What is the Caring Families Program?

The Caring Families program is a domiciliary program that matches individuals experiencing mental illness, mental retardation or the effects of aging, and who seek personal support, fulfillment and a meaningful presence in the community, with families who are well suited to their values and lifestyles.

The Caring Families Program coordinates living arrangements for one to three individuals in a family's home. These arrangements include room and board, as well as personal care services for adults who cannot live independently but who do not require 24-hour institutional or nursing care. To learn more about these mutually rewarding arrangements, please click on the menu items along the side of this page.
