Keystone Children & Family Services
Grand Opening of the S. Wilson and Grace M. Pollock Garden/Playground
On Monday, September 8, 2003, Keystone broke ground on our much anticipated new Thea Drive playground-the S. Wilson and Grace M. Pollock Garden/Playground.
The playground, designed by PlayWorld Systems, will serve not only the children and families who are part of Keystone Children & Family Services, but the larger Harrisburg community as well.
Soon the sounds of large construction equipment will be replaced by the sounds of children playing, and parents and teachers celebrating the completion of one of the area's first completely accessible playgrounds. This is just another example of how Keystone and KC&FS are there for kids when they need it most. The gift of creative play opportunities is a wonderful contribution to a child's development.
