Keystone Children & Family Services
Mission
The mission of Keystone Children & Family Services is to serve and nurture our communities' most vulnerable children by developing and enacting collaborative strategies because childhood should be a time of happiness, security, and growth.
Keystone Children and Family Services has a long history of providing services to children and families in central Pennsylvania. The agency is comprised of a number of previously existing organizations that have merged to form a unified system of care to best serve children and families. These service include the former Tri-County Society for Children and Adults, Susquehanna Service Dogs, Capital Area Head Start, Konrad Associates, Early Intervention Services Inc and family support components of Keystone Family Support Associates.
These organizations consolidated to form KC&FS is 1997. In addition other services have been developed as part of the agency. These services include behavioral health rehabilitation services for children, family preservation and reunification services, therapeutic foster care, host home services, and family-based mental health services.
Active steps are taken to ensure these services provide a high quality of care and integrate ervices in a manner that has positive outcomes for each child and family served.
