Thanking Mark Ritter for his Years of Service
After over 30 years of service with Keystone, Mark Ritter, CEO of Key Human Services, Inc., has announced his retirement.
Mark has been with us since Keystone's early days when we first began supporting men and women in the community, and he played an important role in the development of our strategic plan. Then in 1984, when the Northumberland County MH/MR Administrator asked Keystone if we would be willing to take over the county's residential services by the end of the week, Mark temporarily moved to Sunbury in Northumberland County and, together with his staff, assumed responsibility of the county's residential services. This agency has now evolved into Keystone Human Services North Central.
Mark's service to Keystone did not end in Northumberland County. When Keystone was asked to go to Connecticut to help with the closing of Mansfield State Center, Mark and his family moved to Connecticut, and Mark became the founding CEO of Key Human Services, Inc. in 1989. Under Mark's proven leadership, Key rapidly grew into a strong, respected Connecticut agency. Today, Key provides an array of effective community-based services to support men, women and children with disabilities to make choices and participate meaningfully in the community.
I would like to thank Mark for his years of service and his dedication to Keystone, our mission and the people we serve. With his leadership, we have changed the lives of many men, women and children in our communities.
Thank you, Mark. We wish you all the best.
