Key Steps for Birth to Three!
Key Human Services’ Annual 5K Run, One Mile Walk, and Kids Sprint will be held on September 6 at the scenic West Hartford Reservoir.
Race day registration begins at 8 a.m. The 5K starts at 9 a.m. and the One Mile Walk begins at 9:15 a.m. The top three male and female 5K finishers will be awarded trophies.
The Kids Sprint starts at 8:45 a.m. and is open to children up to 12 years of age. All children will receive an award for participating.
Sign up early to receive a t-shirt! The first 75 people to register will receive a free t-shirt featuring the winners of Key's Children's Art Contest.
West Hartford Reservoir is dog friendly.
The 5K, One Mile Walk, and Kids Sprint benefit Key Human Services’ Birth to Three Program, an early intervention program that provides direct services and supports to children who have a significant delay and their families. Provided in the child’s home or community, Birth to Three supports children to develop at a pace similar to their peers. Proceeds will provide scholarship programs to assist families, and funds for purchasing adaptive equipment and other program supplies.
