Key Human Services' 5K Run, One-Mile Walk, and Kids’ Sprint - Photo of runners

Are you ready to take “Steps for Birth to Three?” Lace up your running shoes and get ready for Key Human Services’ 7th Annual 5K Run, One-Mile Walk, and Kids’ Sprint!

The race will be held on September 12, 2015 at the scenic West Hartford Reservoir. It’s the perfect addition to your race schedule, whether you’re planning on running your first 5K, or if you’re a seasoned runner looking to include a 5K in your racing season.

Race day registration begins at 8 a.m. The 5K starts at 9 a.m., and the One Mile Walk begins at 9:15 a.m.

The Kids Sprint starts at 8:45 a.m. and is open to children up to 12 years of age. All children will receive an award for participating.

Race t-shirts will feature the winners of the Children’s Art Contest. We’re currently taking submissions of artwork! Learn more about entering the Children’s Art Contest.

West Hartford Reservoir is dog friendly.

The 5K, One Mile Walk and Kids Sprint benefit Key Human Services’ Birth to Three Program, an early intervention program that provides direct services and support to children who have a significant delay and their families. Birth to Three supports children to develop at a pace similar to their peers. Proceeds will provide assistance to families through our scholarship program.
