Are you ready to take “Steps for Birth to Three?” Lace up your running shoes and get ready for Key Human Services’ 8th Annual 5K Run, One-Mile Walk, and Kids’ Sprint!
The race will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the scenic West Hartford Reservoir. It’s the perfect addition to your race schedule, whether you’re planning on running your first 5K, or if you’re a seasoned runner looking to include a 5K in your racing season.
Race day registration begins at 8 a.m. The 5K starts at 9 a.m., and the One Mile Walk begins at 9:15 a.m.
The Kids Sprint starts at 8:45 a.m. and is open to children up to 12 years of age. All children will receive an award for participating.
West Hartford Reservoir is dog friendly.
The 5K, One Mile Walk and Kids Sprint benefit Key Human Services’ Birth to Three Program, an early intervention program that provides direct services and support to children who have a significant delay and their families. Birth to Three supports children to develop at a pace similar to their peers. Proceeds will provide assistance to families through our scholarship program.
Online registration ends at 5 p.m. on September 2. You will still be able to register the day of the event.
