For the Individuals
Keystone Autism Services provides adults age 21 and older who have an Autism Spectrum Disorder with the opportunity to increase their independence by finding competitive employment within the community. Within Dauphin, Cumberland, Lancaster, and Chester Counties, KAS provides support in the fundamentals of work preparation. We support individuals as they build a resume, discover their individual skills and abilities, plan a career, prepare for interviews by mock interviewing, explore volunteer and educational opportunities that will lead to ongoing employment, search for work, and apply for jobs.
We foster opportunities to pair individuals with a business that meets their wants and matches their skills and abilities. Furthermore, we provide support on-site to assist in job training and the development of natural supports once a person has found employment.
For businesses, we work to match the right participant with the right skills, abilities, and determination to meet the employer’s needs and business. We provide support during the training process if needed to ensure quality performance, and we provide continual support to the employer and employee whenever needed. Employers may also use our clinicians for their own staff trainings on Autism Spectrum Disorders at no charge.
