Keystone welcomes Bob Baker

Bob Baker

Bob Baker
Vice President of Operations, KSS
Vice President of Keystone Human Services
President/CEO, Keystone Autism Services

You know that an entire arena of disability services is becoming increasingly critical when Keystone establishes a groundbreaking agency dedicated to its unique challenges. Such was the establishment of Keystone Autism Services in 2007, and such is the appointment of CEO, Mr. Robert Baker.

Robert (Bob) Baker brings over 25 years of diverse administrative experience in health systems and managed care programming to his role at Keystone. As Vice President of Operations for KSS, Bob is responsible for the oversight and supervision of Keystone Human Services of Lancaster (KL), Keystone Human Services North Central (KNC), and Keystone Children & Family Services (KC&FS). But beyond these already established entities, Bob is specifically responsible for developing the recently created KHS subsidiary, Keystone Autism Services.

Prior to joining the Keystone family, Bob worked in various capacities with the Penn State University Milton S. Hershey Medical Center for 14 years, most recently as the administrator of the University Physician Group. Before entering the Central Pennsylvania healthcare community, he was in New York, serving as the Assistant Vice President of Medical Programs at the Albany Medical Center. Bob attended Syracuse University, where he earned Masters Degrees in social work and public administration.

“I couldn't be more honored to assume this important leadership position at Keystone,” comments Bob. “Assuming the primary supervisory role for Lancaster, North Central and KC&FS is an enormous responsibility that I welcome with great anticipation. These are long-standing agencies with outstanding track records that speak for themselves. My work as CEO of Keystone Autism Services, on the other hand, will be a groundbreaking opportunity, and I look forward to solidifying Keystone's lead role in supporting this seriously underserved population.”

Comments Charles Hooker III, Bob's immediate supervisor and CEO of Keystone Service Systems, “We couldn't be more delighted to welcome a professional of Bob's caliber to the Keystone Family. His diverse background brings a wealth of experience to our broad-based human service Mission, most notably Keystone's heightened commitment to supporting adults with autism. As is often the case, Keystone is again honored to be navigating important, uncharted waters with the advent of KAS, and we are confident Bob's proven skills will help us to rise to this unique challenge to expand services and adding management capacity to Keystone.”

The entire Keystone family welcomes Bob and looks forward to updates on his success in his new position.
