Floyd Stokes
Mr. Stokes is the executive director of the American Literacy Council, and, since 2001, has performed as SuperReader, the reading hero to over 70,000 children in Arkansas, Mississippi, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Washington, D. C. Mr. Stokes has been recognized locally as well as nationally for his accomplishments in keeping children interested in reading and literacy.
In 2007, Mr. Stokes released his first children’s book, Teddy, The Hungry Little Bear, follwed by his second book, Say Ahh, The Teeth Book, in 2008.
