Charles DeHart III has been a member the law firm Caldwell & Kearns since 1972, both as a managing partner and president. His practice is concentrated in business development, corporate, estate planning and bankruptcy. Since 1987, he has been the standing chapter 13 trustee for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and he has served as the corporate counsel to Keystone Human Services’ family of agencies since 1974.

He received his Bachelor of Science from Lebanon Valley College in 1968, his J.D. from Dickenson School of Law in 1972 and his L.L.M. in taxation from Temple School of Law in 1978. He is a member of the Dauphin County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and he has lectured extensively for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute in bankruptcy law. Chuck served two terms on the Hummelstown Borough Council, as vice president and president, and has been corporate counsel to the Pennsylvania Cancer Society, Hummelstown Borough, Swatara Township Civil Service Commission, Zion Lutheran Church and St. Paul Lutheran Church of Hummelstown.
